Nights and Roses Series

Light kills dark.

The sun rules over the night, decides how long it gets to test the bones of those who can’t find sleep when they look under eyelids.

The ones who fall victim to the mist of evening, can’t find shelter from the vacant day.

Tempted by the choice, when the face of the sun defining day turns away, when the stars seem easy on the eye and slowly you question if the memories of rays that warmed your face at dawn are more like chains that pull you from the comfort of unconsciousness.
